~4 hour check out flight of the GV with LVIS and DMS installed was completed today.
Both LVIS and DMS operated with no issues. Three of the 4 IMU’s worked well, however the 4th unit did not operate and will be investigated before the next flight.
The LVIS system collected good alignment data over the desert, numerous roll and pitch calibration maneuvers over water, and multiple passes over the ramp (ground GPS survey) at Broomfield. DMS also successfully collected data throughout the flight as well as during the calibration passes over the Broomfield ramp.
